Verified on this Mac

Checking your installed version is a real CLI command, run here on 2026-07-29:

$ claude --version
2.1.199 (Claude Code)

What you can check inside a session

`/status` shows your current model and auth state. Usage and cost live under `/usage`; the older `/cost` and `/stats` now open as tabs inside it. `/model` switches models instantly, no restart needed.

Which plan for solo devs

Pro is usually enough for solo/small projects. Heavier, parallel usage points to Max. Teams wanting unified billing look at Team. ConfigDeck's ¥3,000/mo All-Access is a separate, additive fee for configs — not a Claude Code subscription.
